Since 2018, Kidd Kyle & the Big Deal has made it their mission to spead the good word of traditional New Orleans jazz music far and wide. In today’s world, people associate Jazz with fancy cocktail bars and hoihty-toity attitudes - but it couldn’t be further from reality! Jazz is music for the people - and it certainly doesn’t always have to be fancy!

Kidd Kyle & the Big Deal is led by “Kidd” Kyle Yagielski, who has assembled a rag-tag group of exceptional musicians from across the Great State of New York - including singers, horn players, drummers, pianists, and beyond. The group focuses on traditional New Orleans jazz music - but branches out to touch on brass band & funk tunes as well.

Thanks to its ever-rotating lineup, Kidd Kyle & the Big Deal regularly scales from a simple duo to a full 8-piece swing band! This allows the group to play in settings from barroom corners & swing dance events to private parties & outdoor parades!
